Congratulations to the newly elected Rowing Queensland Board Chairperson, Samara Quinlan! Samara is the Director of Rowing at Somerville House in Brisbane and a passionate member of the AWR committee. Samara is an avid supporter of rowing and we are looking forward to supporting her in her new role.
Sally Kehoe was also appointed as a Director. Sally developed her rowing career in Queensland, having rowed at St Margarets and UQBC, before representing Australia at three Olympics and multiple World Championships. She brings a wealth of experience in High Performance as well as Finance and Governance.
Annette Quayle was also elected as a Director to join Chloe Schauble, rounding out the Board of Directors, with 66% female representation.
